Centro Vegetariano (CV) is a Portuguese non-profit organisation which started in 2001. Among other projects we maintain websites www.centrovegetariano.org (Portuguese, with list of restaurants, hundreds of recipes and articles and other resources) and www.vegan2050.org (English), newsletters in Portuguese and English, a magazine (Portuguese) and a Vegan Mailing List.
Currently at CV we have a ruin that we aim to restore and use as CV headquarters, so that we can promote activities and events such as:
Group gatherings and meetings;
Cooking lessons and workshops related to CV's activity;
Archive, library and museum.
The building needs a lot of materials and work before it is ready to use. The roof must be restored as well as the stone walls. It is necessary to put new floors, a WC, stairs, electrical wiring and other improvements.

2) Donate materials
Companies or individuals which could deliver materials to CV headquarters in Oliveira do Hospital, Portugal, are welcome to donate building materials. Please contact us if you have anything you would like to donate.
3) Volunteer work.
Building parties will be organised for the most simple and safe repairs at a later stage. Subscribe to our newsletter to keep updated.
In exchange, we will send a certificate by e-mail to all supporters.
Besides, we are making all these perks available, which donors can choose according to the amount donated. Free shipping is also included in the perks, when shipping is required:
1) Donate US $27.50 and receive a Tofu kit (worth US 16.50 + shipping).

5) Donate US $550.00 and receive all items as in 4) plus a sprouter (230 V, European plug) (worth US $38.49) and an ad for any product in two newsletters (Portuguese and English), plus 1 full page in two issues of the magazine (Portuguese). Total value of the pack is US $507.08 + shipping.
6) Donate US $1,100.00 and receive all items as in 5) plus a dehydrator (230 V, European plug, worth US $66.00), plus a small plaque/tile in the building, approx. 20x20 cm, with an advertisement, a message or anything that you want and goes according to the values of the Association.
7) Donate US $2,750.00 and receive all perks as in 6), plus free lodging up to 3 days in Oliveira do Hospital, Portugal, for two people.
8) Donate US $11,000.00 and receive all perks as in point 6), and 1 week free lodging in Oliveira do Hospital, Portugal, for two people. A tour of the city is included. This package includes one home cooked vegan meal per day, for the week you are in Oliveira do Hospital.
9) Donate US $22,000.00 and receive all perks as in point 6, plus 1 week free lodging in Oliveira do Hospital, Portugal, for two people. Includes guided tours to Oliveira do Hospital and surroundings, as well as 3 vegan meals every day all the week.

Send us a message after you donate, or wait for our message. Perks will be sent in up to 2 weeks after the donation and shipping address are received.
